Throughout his career, Jermaine Jackson collaborated with many and various artists and contributed as a singer, producer, writer, bassist and mentor to a lot of music projects. Jermaine has supported and guided many (upcoming) artists in his career serving a mentor, including for his sons Jaafar and Jermajesty.

On June 15th, 2009 Taj Jackson (son of Tito Jackson and Dee Dee Martes) published a blog article in which he reveals that he really loves the bass guitar and this love goes back to when he was just a child. When his uncle Jermaine found out he was starting to learn the bass, he gave him his Gold Fender Jazz Bass.

Genevieve Jackson (daughter of Randy Jackson and Alejandra Jackson) spoke about the support from Jermaine in Jackson Magazine 2008 edition, saying: “When I was little my uncle Jermaine used to practice singing with me and when I was eight my mother and my uncle Jermaine took me to record my first song.”
